The American Enterprise Institute seeks a program manager for a project focused on bringing values-based arguments for free enterprise to colleges and universities around the country. The program manager is expected initially to arrange for on campus events and debates, recruit a national scholars network, promote and design curricular material for use in college classrooms, and create and implement a summer school and other educational programs for students onsite at AEI. The program manager is expected to act entrepreneurially to continually adapt and redesign this program to better pursue its objectives. The program manager will also work with AEI senior executives to grow the program’s size, scope, and resources over time. This position requires excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills. The ideal candidate would also have experience with program management, marketing, and new media. Experience with free-enterprise-focused higher education campus programming is strongly preferred.

We are looking for a strong, mid-level professional to develop and manage one of three key program areas at the Inter-American Dialogue—energy and climate change; crime and security; or democratic governance. This is a mid-level position requiring a master’s degree in a relevant field, some managerial experience, fluency in Spanish and English, and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
