Tunis.- Robert Stewart is a Research Fellow at McGill University’s Interuniversity Consortium for Arab and Middle Eastern Studies, where his work focuses on the politics of the MENA region and particularly on political Islam as well as on transitional justice. He is also a professional researcher and analyst, having done work related to humanitarian responses and particularly migration for a variety of clients including the International Organization for Migration, Oxfam, UNRWA, UNICEF, etc.. Robert holds an MA from the University of Toronto and has been pursuing his PhD in Politics at the University of Exeter on a part-time basis since 2013. His publications include a co-edited book, “Transitional Justice and the Arab Spring” (Routledge, 2014).
